The Reflected Landscape
is a collection of images and reflections from the landscape photography of Ian Furniss. Many of the images contained within are reflections in water, equally some are reflections from the mind. All are captured moments that speak of my love for the land, our planet, and the beauty within it.

I have always felt a great love for the land and moved to landscape photography as part of a natural progression from a background in paint and pastel. Whilst I still like to paint, there are times when I feel a greater need to capture the moment at the instant it happens. Rather than seeing the modern era of photography as a replacement for painting, I therefore see it as more of a compliment. Two art forms that say similar things in similar ways but each with their own unique identity. My photography is primarily digital but I also shoot medium format film both for printed and web media.
